Update

The former Public Art and Collections Committee [PACC] became a board effective December 2004. The governing body for the Scottsdale Public Art Program is now referred to as the Scottsdale Public Art Board [SPA Board].

Our Governing Board

Together with seven full time staff members, volunteers serve on the Scottsdale Public Art Board [SPA Board] to oversee the program. SPA Board is the governing body that makes decisions regarding artist selection, art concepts, and budgets. SPA Board reports only to the Scottsdale Cultural Council Board.

SPA Board meets monthly to discuss and vote upon important issues related to the Scottsdale Public Art Program. The agenda for the monthly public meeting is posted (at least 24 hours in advance) in three locations:

1) Scottsdale City Hall bulletin board & press room (3939 Civic Center Plaza)
2) Inside the Scottsdale Center for the Arts Atrium next to the Center Conference Room (7380 E. Second Street)
3) Posted via fax to the Citizen Service Center (Scottsdale & McDowell Road)

Minutes are generated from the discussion during the monthly SPA Board meetings. Minutes are distributed to the SPA Board members and must be voted upon by the SPA Board for final approval.

If you have any questions regarding SPA Board meetings or previous meeting minutes, please contact the Program Assistant at: 480-874-4645
