Artist Kevin Berry worked with members of a design team to create a unique solution to "routine" street improvements. The public art components include 2 artist-designed bus shelters with cast concrete benches, artist-designed trash receptacles, a privacy wall and tree grates & guards. The tree guard design was inspired by the leaf pattern of the mesquite trees which were planted along the walkways in the streetscape. Berry used a welded steel construction frame with a copper roof. Matching trash receptacles and benches are earth pigmented, made of cast iron with a palm tree design.
