This exhibition will feature artist's original watercolors and displays of natural and found objects that have inspired acclaimed illustrator Sylvia Long. Don't miss this rare glimpse into the world of a celebrated Arizona Artist.

Sylvia Long captures the purest beauty of the natural world in her award-winning illustrations. Long's love of animals and nature are central to her work and lead her to illustrate children's books. The exhibition features the artist's original watercolors and objects that have inspired her.

While living on the Wind River Indian Reservation near Lander, Wyoming, Long collaborated with close friend Virginia Grossman to produce Ten Little Rabbits.The delightful counting book features rabbits wrapped in Native American blankets.

The book became a best seller and a winner of the International Reading Association's Award for Best Children's Book. Long's illustrations have been published in eighteen books--paired with stories by some of the most renowned children's book authors in the world. Long has lived in Scottsdale for more than twenty years, working from her studio in her home.
