Exhibition Space

The Gallery @the Library is an exhibition program located in the gallery space of the Scottsdale Civic Center Library. Scottsdale Public Art in partnership with the Civic Center Library present exhibitions and educational programming that strengthens awareness of the arts and stimulates community dialogue. The gallery is also used as a community gathering space and programming may include: lectures, gallery talks, workshops, and other educational events.

July 1 - Aug 22: Sylvia Long, The Art of the Story

Sept 3 - Oct 2: Tribute: Honoring Survivors, the Art of Robert Sutz

Oct 6 - Nov 5: Focus on Conservation: McDowell Sonoran Conservancy Photo Contest

Nov 10- Dec 5: Photographs by Liz Cohen

Dec 10-Jan 5: Literal Green: Eco-Mosaic Portraits by Sandy Schimmel

Society's concept of beauty. Where can it be found in a culture of conspicuous consumption? Advertising. See beautiful mosaic portraits created from everyday junk mail.

Jan 12 - Feb 26: Cowboy and Images: Printing the West in the 21st Century Cattle Track's Tiny Satellite Press

March 1 - 20: Scottsdale Remembers, Historical Photos from the Library Collection

April 11 - June 20: Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef Project
